Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Albrighton Primary School, the children are at the core of everything we do. Our motto ‘Only Our Best Will Do!’ is backed by our belief ‘It doesn’t matter what your starting point is, it’s where you finish that counts.’
Inclusion
At Albrighton Primary School, we strive to be inclusive by building a loving and caring school community where everyone feels welcome, secure and valued. We recognise and celebrate our individualities, and use adaptive techniques to teach a broad and balanced curriculum in a learning environment where everyone can thrive, regardless of their interests, needs or abilities.

Support
If your child has SEND, or you think your child has SEND, please make an appointment to come into school and discuss this with the SENDCo.
Please see the SEND and Parental Support Page under the Parent Support section of this website for lots of helpful advice and resources.
In school, we aim to quickly identify children who have SEND, or those who are making limited progress, and provide targeted interventions and support to meet their individual needs. This support is reviewed regularly to ensure everyone makes progress towards their personalised targets and achieve their full potential. We ensure that parents are fully aware of the SEND process and informed of their child’s learning at regular points throughout the year. We are a fully inclusive school and work alongside the Local Authority, Health Professionals and community organisations to find the most appropriate and effective support for pupils within our care.
The SEND Local Offer
All local authorities must present a SEND local offer – a single place for information, services and resources available in the local area to children and young people with SEND, their families and the professionals who support them.
Albrighton Primary School falls under Shropshire Local Authority – Shropshire’s SEND Local Offer
