SEND Update – PINS

We are excited to have become part of the Partnership for Inclusion of Neurodiversity in Schools (PINS) funded by NHS England in partnership with the Department of Education, Department for Health and Social Care and the National Network of Parent Carer Forums (NNPCF).

The purpose of the project is to improve the experience of mainstream school for children who may have an special educational needs and a neurodivergence profile.

As part of this project, we will receive guidance and advice within school on both supportive strategies to implement and whole-school environmental changes we can make, as well as support from Parent Carer Council for Shropshire (PACC) to ensure we capture and consider parent voice.

An initial parent panel meeting has taken place on the 10th July, with the partnership work starting in earnest early in the Autumn Term in September 2024.
