Our Vision.
At Albrighton Primary School, our motto ‘Only our best will do!‘ is our mantra for all aspects of school life and underpins the way we work; the way we conduct and present ourselves and the relationships we form with each other.
We believe in celebrating the ‘whole child’, with personal, social and emotional well-being being equally as important as achieving academically.
We welcome and celebrate diversity, relishing the uniqueness of every child.
Our ambition is high and we are passionate about enabling each and every individual pupil to reach their full potential, encapsulated in our core belief – ‘it doesn’t matter what your starting point is, it’s where you finish that counts.’
Core Values
After consulting with pupils and staff, Albrighton’s School Council have agreed on our six core values of:
SMSC
These values thread through everything we do here at Albrighton, forming the basis for the spiritual, moral, social, cultural, emotional and intellectual development of our children.
We guide our children to reflect on these values often; during assemblies, learning and social time.
By encouraging our children to live through these values, we aim to enable them to grow and develop into people who go on to lead remarkable lives that make a valuable contribution to the world.
British Values
The spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of children, and the promotion of British Values, takes place across and beyond the taught curriculum, threading through everything we do here at Albrighton.
The promotion of British Values helps to prepare our children for life in modern Britain, by helping them understand, accept and engage with the five fundamental values of Democracy, Individual Liberty, The Rule of Law, Mutual Respect and Tolerance of Different Faiths and Beliefs.
