Our school buildings and extensive grounds are set in the idyllic village of Albrighton, near Wolverhampton. We are very lucky to have two buildings and extensive grounds that providing a stimulating and safe learning environment from children aged 2 in Nursery up to children aged 11 in Year 6.
Our main school building is home to children in Year 1 to Year 6. Our large hall, having its own stage, is used for productions, assemblies, indoor P.E., and many of our school events. Our onsite kitchen caters for our children and staff, with the dining hall used by everyone from Reception to Year 6. This building is also the base for our Learning Mentors, who work out of ‘the Hub’, providing pastoral and SEMH support for children. The office here will be the first point of contact for anyone visiting Albrighton Primary School.
Our EYFS building is home to our Nursery and Reception children, providing calm and neutral indoor and outdoor learning spaces for children aged 2 upwards. The hall is used by EYFS children. This building is also home to our before and afterschool wrap around care – ‘Zoom Club’. The office and entrance here are used by EYFS children and those accessing ‘Zoom Club’, therefore providing a quieter drop off and collection for our smallest children.
We are extremely lucky to have such extensive grounds here at Albrighton Primary School and Nursery. We have forest school areas, large playground equipment and even out own outdoor swimming pool. Our outdoor provision is currently being developed further, as we invest in OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) to offer an even more exciting and enriching experience of play and lunchtimes.
