We welcome and encourage visits to our school, prior to making an application for a school place. We hold regular open days / evenings throughout the school year, or you can contact the school office (01902 372558 / admin@albrightonprimary.com) to arrange a visit at any time.
Transition prior to pupils joining our Reception classes is important so that children feel safe and secure when they access the setting full time. Stay and play sessions will give children the opportunity to meet their class teacher, other adults working in Reception and most importantly, their classmates. There will also be a ‘Starting School’ meeting, for parents to ‘meet the team’ and ask any questions you may have. Once the children have started school, class teachers will hold individual parent’s meetings for you to tell them about all of those lovely traits that make your child special.
Pre-School and Nursery (2 – 4 year olds)
We have a pre-school and nursery that are led and managed by primary school personnel. It is situated in our Early Years building, alongside Albrighton Primary School’s Reception classes, ensuring cohesion within the Foundation Stage curriculum and ensuring a smooth transition for parents who choose to send their children to our school.
‘Inquisitive minds’, ‘Laughter’, ‘Excitement’, ‘Fascination in the world around them’, ‘Independence’, ‘Confidence’ – these are all things we want to create within our children. Our pre-school and nursery provide a happy, caring and secure environment where children thrive and flourish enabling them to achieve all of these.
Our child centred philosophy means that we value the individuality and uniqueness of every child that enters our setting, and we aim to work in partnership with you to ensure your child has the very best start in life.
Full details are available in our Pre-School and Nursery Prospectus – email nursery@albrightonprimary.com.
