On 19 September, 2024, we have children’s author Tom Palmer visiting KS2 for a workshop and book signing.
On this day, KS2 are welcome to come in non-uniform for a donation of £1.
Tom has a close connection with our school, and our pupils have been the inspiration for the characters in some of his books. He is also the ‘writer in residence’ for the RAF museums.
Tom will also be doing a book signing. If you would like to buy a book to be signed for your child, please do so using the options on ParentPay. There will be a choice of two books. Secret FC (suitable for all year groups) and Arctic Star (more suited to years 5 and 6). These are available for the discounted price of £7.10. If your child already has a book of Tom’s at home, they can bring this in to be signed too.
We are sure the children will enjoy Tom’s workshop. The option to purchase a book to be signed will close on Tuesday 17th September 2024. Payment for non uniform and/or to purchase the book has been set up on ParentPay.
