Dear Parent Carer
Thank-you to those who were able to attend our introductory meeting last term. It was lovely to meet you all.
For those who were unable to attend the previous meeting, we still encourage you to join us for the following ones. The input of parent carer experience and views are a vital element of the PINS project. Input from Parent Carers will help improve support for children with additional needs within your school, alongside the training package being offered to school staff.
The Parent Carer Participation Group is for all parent carers of children with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND); no diagnosis or EHCP is required.
We will hold termly meetings in order to:
- Work co-operatively with the school
- Ensure that parent carers have their voices heard by the school
- Bring parent carers together to share experiences
- Introducing a closed Facebook Group, hosted by PACC specifically for Parent Carers at your school
- Share information about wider support offers available to Shropshire SEND Families
The meeting will be held on Tuesday 24th September with Simone Goward from 2-3pm, in the main school building at Albrighton Primary School. Please arrive at the main reception.
Please try to join us and encourage other parent carers to come along too.
