As part of building children’s speech and language development along with their listening and attention skills, reading stories frequently is a great way of supporting these. In aid of this, I have created our own “Toddler Lending Library”. This will provide the children with the opportunity to borrow a book and take it home.
There’s a clipboard provided at the side of the crate where you can simply sign which book you would like to borrow, the date of when you’re taking it and your child’s name. I will rotate the books around every 2 weeks, so please can I ask if you’re borrowing a book that it is returned within this time frame please. Also, don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any book suggestions. It would be fantastic to have a better idea of key books your children are interested in reading at home.
